About Me

I am a Graduate Student at California State University Fullerton. I am currently in my last semester and will be graduating in May 2018. I am looking for full time opportunities in the field of Software Development and Testing. I have 2.5 years of professional experience working in a multinational company as a Full Stack Java Web Developer. The various responsibilities that I handled were full stack web portlet development and testing, code quality analysis and WCAG compliance. I have done a three month internship at a startup company in The San Francisco Bay Area as a Front End Web Developer Volunteer. Here I built an Image Editor tool using React JS and Redux and was also responsible for UI bug fixes as well code merges from staging to production environment. I have experience of both working in teams as well as individually.

Front End Developer Intern (Volunteer) • June 2017 - August 2017

Worked as a Front End Developer Intern (Volunteer) at Lilitofu. I have developed and integrated image editor tool featuring numerous image filters and image cropping feature using React JS and Redux Framework. Identified and fixed crucial bug fixes related to User Interface during the beta launch of the startup website. Also was responsible for performing code reviews and code merges from Staging environment (where all development was done and tested) into a production environment (on which live website was working).

Accenture Services Private Limited

Software Developer Analyst• January 2014 - July 2016

Worked on two different projects during my tenure at Accenture. My role in first project was a Full Stack Java Web Developer.
I was responsible for developing end to end portlets for a Web Portal using IBM Portal Tools. Developed user interface using Java Server Faces (JSF) and business logic using Enterprise Java Beans (EJB). Built SOAP web services from scratch using Facade Design Pattern. Used IBM DB2 for data storage and Open JPA for data access and manipulation. Performed JUnit test on all code written, also did SOA Testing and Integration Testing on respective portlets. Worked on preparing test data and test cases for Quality Analysis and testing.
During my second project at Accenture, I was promoted from Software Engineering Associate to Software Engineering Analyst. I was responsible for performing Code Quality Analysis using SONAR QUBE Software. I was also responsible for managing a team of three (including me) for performing this task. Also, used JAWS tool for implementing and testing WCAG standards for our product.

The various technologies I have worked with during my tenure at Accenture were: Java, J2EE, EJB, JPA, JSF, JSP, HTML, CSS, IBM Portal Tools, IBM WebSphere, SOA, JUnit, IBM DB2, IBM Rational Clear Case, Sonar Qube, Apache Tomcat, SOAP UI, Firebug.
